A quick and easy smoked cream cheese block seasoned with everything bagel seasoning and drizzled with hot honey, perfect for entertaining and snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese block
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
  • Wood chips (hickory or applewood, soaked for 30 minutes)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker or grill to 225°F (107°C). Soak wood chips in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove cream cheese block from fridge and let warm at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Lightly brush cream cheese block with olive oil to help seasoning stick.
  4. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly over all sides of the cream cheese block.
  5. Place cream cheese block in a heatproof dish and transfer to smoker.
  6. Smoke for 45 to 50 minutes at 225°F (107°C) until a golden, slightly firm exterior forms but cheese remains creamy inside.
  7. Remove from smoker and let rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Warm hot honey slightly if thick, then drizzle generously over smoked cream cheese.
  9. Serve immediately with crackers, toasted everything bagel slices, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Keep smoker temperature steady at 225°F to avoid melting the cheese. Let cream cheese warm before smoking for even smoke absorption. Drizzle hot honey after resting to prevent it from running off. Can be stored refrigerated up to 3 days; add honey fresh before serving. For dairy-free, use firm vegan cream cheese and adjust smoking time.
