A simple, thoughtful charcuterie board designed for two, perfect for a cozy and romantic evening with a delightful mix of savory, sweet, crunchy, and creamy elements.

Ingredients

  • Brie, about 4 oz (120 g), soft and creamy
  • Aged cheddar, 3 oz (85 g), firm and sharp
  • Goat cheese log, 3 oz (85 g), tangy and spreadable (optional)
  • Sliced prosciutto, 3 oz (85 g), thin and delicate
  • Salami, 3 oz (85 g), sliced into rounds
  • Marcona almonds, 1/4 cup (30 g), lightly salted
  • Mixed crackers, about 1 cup (120 g)
  • Dried apricots, 1/4 cup (40 g)
  • Fresh grapes, about 1 cup (150 g)
  • Honey, 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
  • Mixed olives, 1/3 cup (50 g), pitted and marinated
  • Cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup (75 g), halved
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the board by wiping it clean and dry. Place small bowls for olives, honey, and nuts strategically on the board.
  2. Slice the brie into wedges, cheddar into thin rectangles, and goat cheese log into rounds. Arrange cheeses in separate sections with space around them.
  3. Fold prosciutto slices loosely and place near cheeses. Layer salami slices in an overlapping circle or fan pattern.
  4. Fill spaces with crackers and scatter Marcona almonds around the board, using bowls for nuts if desired.
  5. Position dried apricots and fresh grapes in clusters. Drizzle honey over brie or place in a small bowl.
  6. Spoon olives into their bowl and nestle cherry tomato halves near edges. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.
  7. Fill any empty spots with extra nuts, grapes, or crackers to keep the board balanced and inviting.

Notes

Take cheeses out of the fridge 20-30 minutes before serving for best flavor and texture. Use odd numbers when arranging clusters of nuts or fruits for a natural look. Fold meats to add height and texture. Avoid overcrowding the board. Prepare ingredients ahead and assemble just before serving for freshness.
