A quick and easy no-bake snack combining the nostalgic flavors of s’mores with the convenience of trail mix. Perfect for cozy nights, hikes, or anytime you want a sweet, crunchy treat.

  • 2 cups graham crackers, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet recommended)
  • 1 cup roasted nuts (almonds, pecans, or peanuts)
  • Optional mix-ins: ½ cup dried cranberries or cherries
  • Optional mix-ins: ½ cup shredded coconut
  • Optional mix-ins: ½ cup mini pretzels

Instructions

  1. Break the graham crackers into bite-sized pieces, about 2 cups (100 grams).
  2. Toast 1 cup (120 grams) of nuts on a baking sheet at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until fragrant, then let cool (optional).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine graham cracker pieces, toasted nuts, 1 cup (150 grams) mini marshmallows, and 1 cup (170 grams) chocolate chips.
  4. Add any optional mix-ins such as dried cranberries, shredded coconut, or mini pretzels (about ½ cup or 60 grams each) if desired.
  5. Gently fold all ingredients together using a large spoon or your hands to avoid crushing the marshmallows or graham crackers.
  6. Divide the mixture evenly into 6 to 8 small ziplock or snack bags for easy grab-and-go portions.
  7. Seal the bags tightly and store at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for longer freshness.

Notes

Toast nuts separately to enhance flavor without melting chocolate chips. Mix gently to avoid crushing marshmallows and graham crackers. Store in airtight containers to keep marshmallows soft. Use gluten-free graham crackers or cereal clusters for gluten-free version. Vegan marshmallows and dairy-free chocolate chips can be used for a vegan adaptation.
