A quick and easy fudge recipe featuring creamy white chocolate with nostalgic cotton candy flavor, decorated with patriotic red, white, and blue swirls and sprinkles. Perfect for celebrations and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips (about 510g)
  • 1 (14 oz / 396g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cotton candy flavoring
  • Red gel food coloring, a few drops
  • Blue gel food coloring, a few drops
  • 1/4 cup (about 40g) red, white, and blue sprinkles
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and softened butter. Stir constantly with a rubber spatula until smooth and fully melted, about 7-10 minutes. Avoid overheating.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and cotton candy flavoring until evenly incorporated.
  4. Divide the fudge mixture into two bowls: about two-thirds in one and one-third in the other. Add red gel food coloring to the larger portion and blue gel food coloring to the smaller portion, stirring each until vivid colors form. Leave some fudge uncolored for white.
  5. Pour spoonfuls of red, white, and blue fudge alternately into the prepared pan in random dollops. Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the colors together to create a marbled cotton candy effect. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Evenly scatter the red, white, and blue sprinkles on top, pressing lightly so they stick without sinking.
  7. Chill the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm enough to cut cleanly.
  8. Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) squares. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors without thinning the fudge. For dairy-free, substitute sweetened condensed coconut milk and dairy-free white chocolate chips. Chill fudge for at least 2 hours; if too soft, chill longer. Warm knife under hot water and dry before slicing for clean edges. Store in airtight container refrigerated up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 3 months.
