These turkey and stuffing sliders are the ultimate party appetizer, combining juicy turkey, savory stuffing, tangy cranberry sauce, and melty cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls. Quick to assemble and endlessly customizable, they’re perfect for using up leftovers or feeding a hungry crowd at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls (preferably Hawaiian sweet rolls)
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, sliced or shredded
  • 2 cups prepared stuffing
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (halved to fit)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (parsley, thyme, or sage)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the entire slab of slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible. Place the bottom half in the prepared pan.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together cranberry sauce and mayonnaise (if using).
  4. Spread half of the cranberry-mayo mixture evenly over the bottom rolls.
  5. Arrange turkey slices or shreds evenly over the bottom rolls.
  6. Spoon stuffing evenly over the turkey and press down gently.
  7. Place Swiss cheese slices evenly over the stuffing, overlapping slightly.
  8. Spread the remaining cranberry-mayo mixture on the underside of the top rolls, then place the tops over the cheese layer.
  9. Mix melted butter with dried herbs in a small bowl. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  10. Tent the pan loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake another 8-10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and tops are golden.
  12. Let sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Use a spatula to lift out individual sliders.

Notes

For best results, keep the rolls together while slicing and assembling. Don’t overload with filling to prevent sliders from falling apart. Brush the tops thoroughly with herby butter for flavor and moisture. Use leftover gravy if turkey is dry. Sliders can be assembled up to a day ahead and baked just before serving. For gluten-free or dairy-free versions, substitute appropriate rolls, stuffing, and cheese.
