A creamy, spiced sweet potato pie blended into a milkshake and served as adorable mini shots—perfect for fall gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweet potato puree (homemade or unsweetened canned)
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Crushed graham crackers (for garnish)
  • Dash of maple syrup (optional)
  • Sprinkle of pumpkin spice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sweet potato puree: Peel, cube, and boil fresh sweet potatoes until tender (about 15 minutes). Mash or blend until smooth and let cool completely.
  2. Blend the milkshake: Combine sweet potato puree, vanilla ice cream, whole milk, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust: Check sweetness and spice level. Add maple syrup or pumpkin spice if desired, and blend again.
  4. Prepare the glasses: Crush graham crackers and spread them on a plate. Dip rims of shot glasses in milk or maple syrup, then press into crushed crackers.
  5. Pour and garnish: Pour milkshake into shot glasses. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
  6. Serve immediately: Enjoy fresh while whipped cream is fluffy and drink is cold.
