- 2 (3.9 oz) boxes chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups cold milk
- 16 oz whipped topping, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 20 crushed Oreos
- 6–8 peanut butter cups, chopped
- Handful of gummy worms
- Halloween sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping gently until combined.
- Place the Oreos in a zip-top bag and crush them using a rolling pin or your hands. Aim for a mix of fine crumbs and larger chunks.
- Begin with a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom of your 9×13 dish. Follow with half the chocolate pudding, then half the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Add another layer of crushed Oreos, remaining pudding, and the remaining cream cheese mixture. End with a generous topping of crushed Oreos.
- Arrange gummy worms on top as if they’re crawling through the ‘dirt.’ Add Halloween sprinkles for extra flair.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the layers set.
Notes
For best results, use cold milk for the pudding and softened cream cheese to avoid lumps. Add gummy worms and sprinkles just before serving to keep them fresh.
