- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes or drained Rotel
- 1 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
- Tortilla chips for dipping
- Optional: Plastic spider ring or edible spiders for decoration
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of sour cream with 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning. Reserve about ¼ cup for the spider web design.
- Spread the refried beans evenly on the bottom of your serving dish.
- Carefully spread the guacamole on top of the beans. Smooth it out with an offset spatula or spoon.
- Spread the taco-seasoned sour cream over the guacamole, ensuring it’s even and smooth.
- Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded cheese over the sour cream.
- Scatter the diced tomatoes evenly across the cheese layer.
- Add a layer of black olives followed by sliced green onions for a pop of color.
- Transfer the reserved sour cream into a piping bag or zip-top bag. Pipe a spider web design on top of the dip by starting with a large circle, then adding smaller concentric circles inside. Connect the circles with straight lines radiating outward.
- If desired, place a plastic spider ring or edible spider in the center of the web for extra Halloween flair.
