Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup crushed pecans (for coating)
  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios (for coating)
  • 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In separate mixing bowls, prepare the base for each cheese ball by combining the cream cheese and other cheeses until smooth using a spatula or wooden spoon.
  2. For the Cheddar Bacon Cheese Ball: Mix in shredded cheddar, bacon crumbles, green onions, and garlic powder. Shape into a ball using your hands and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 20 minutes.
  3. For the Goat Cheese Herb Cheese Ball: Stir in fresh dill, parsley, and lemon zest. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. For the Blue Cheese Walnut Cheese Ball: Add blue cheese and honey to the cream cheese base. Mix well, shape into a ball, and refrigerate.
  5. Prepare the coatings by placing the crushed pecans, chopped pistachios, and walnuts on separate plates.
  6. Roll each chilled cheese ball in its respective coating until fully covered. Press gently to ensure the coating sticks evenly.
  7. Arrange the cheese balls on a serving platter with crackers, breadsticks, or veggie sticks for dipping.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for smoother mixing. Chill cheese balls before rolling in coatings to prevent sticking. Customize flavors and coatings to suit dietary preferences.
