  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook 1/2 cup of boba pearls according to the package instructions. Once cooked, rinse under cold water and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 12 ounces of cranberries, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1/4 cup orange juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Stir in 1 teaspoon orange zest, 1 cinnamon stick, and a pinch of salt (optional). Reduce heat to a simmer and let the cranberries break down, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Once the sauce has thickened, remove the cinnamon stick and discard.
  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for a warm, sweet finish.
  6. Gently fold the cooked boba pearls into the cranberry sauce, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  7. Let the sauce cool to room temperature before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
