A bold and flavorful stuffing recipe combining buttery cornbread, savory spices, and the fiery crunch of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, perfect for holiday feasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 cups crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray. Crumble the cornbread into a large mixing bowl. Crush the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into small pieces and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter, then add the chopped onion and celery. Cook for 5 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the sautéed veggies to the mixing bowl with the cornbread. Stir in the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, parsley, sage, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the chicken broth over the mixture and stir gently. Add the beaten eggs and mix until combined. The mixture should be moist but not overly wet.
  5. Transfer the stuffing mixture to your prepared baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly crispy.
  6. Let the stuffing rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

[“For a milder version, swap Flamin’ Hot Cheetos for regular Cheetos or another favorite snack.”, ‘Vegetable broth can be used instead of chicken broth for a vegetarian option.’, ‘Toast the crumbled cornbread in the oven for 5 minutes before mixing for extra flavor.’, ‘If the stuffing looks too dry before baking, add a splash more broth. If it feels too wet, toss in a handful of crushed Cheetos or breadcrumbs.’]
