A playful and festive holiday dessert featuring gingerbread cookies, melted chocolate, and customizable toppings for a fun and indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • Gingerbread cookies, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • White chocolate chips, melted
  • Milk chocolate chips
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Holiday sprinkles (red, green, and white)
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel sauce (optional)
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Lay broken gingerbread cookie pieces across a baking sheet or serving platter in an even layer.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips in separate microwave-safe bowls, microwaving in 20-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  3. Drizzle melted chocolate over the gingerbread pieces, alternating between white and milk chocolate.
  4. Scatter mini marshmallows across the nachos. Optionally, warm the tray in the oven for 1-2 minutes to slightly melt the marshmallows.
  5. Add holiday sprinkles, crushed candy canes, and other toppings generously.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top if desired, and dust everything with powdered sugar.
  7. Transfer to a festive serving platter and add dollops of whipped cream for dipping or garnish.

Notes

[‘Avoid soaking the cookies with too much sauce or chocolate to maintain the crunch.’, “Thin melted chocolate with a teaspoon of coconut oil or butter if it’s too thick.”, ‘Experiment with small batches to find the perfect combination of flavors.’, ‘Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.’]
