A silky smooth, rich fudge delicately flavored with peppermint and topped with crushed candy canes, perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (525 g) white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) peppermint extract
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Optional: Red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter over low heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate has completely melted, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in peppermint extract. Add a few drops of red food coloring if desired and swirl gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle crushed candy canes evenly over the surface, pressing them lightly into the fudge.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm and set.
  8. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut into small squares or rectangles.
