A creamy, gooey baked brie topped with tart cranberry sauce and crunchy pecans, perfect for holiday entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (812 ounces, double or triple cream)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought, whole berry preferred)
  • 1/4 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)
  • Crackers or bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Place the brie wheel in a baking dish. Optional: Score the rind lightly with a knife in a crisscross pattern.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the brie.
  5. Sprinkle the toasted pecans and brown sugar over the cranberry layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and melty but not completely oozing out.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Toast the pecans for maximum flavor. Use room-temperature brie for even melting. Customize toppings with apricot preserves or fig jam for a twist.
