These Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites combine tangy cranberries, creamy brie, and buttery puff pastry for a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheets (thawed according to package instructions)
  • Brie Cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • Cranberry Sauce (homemade or store-bought, whole berry preferred)
  • Fresh Rosemary (optional)
  • Egg Wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tablespoon of water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.
  3. Cut the pastry into 3-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  4. Press each square gently into the muffin tin cups, letting the edges slightly overlap.
  5. Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry cup.
  6. Add a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the brie. Don’t overfill, as it can overflow during baking.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle a few rosemary leaves on top for added flavor.
  8. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the muffin tin. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Keep puff pastry cold until ready to use to ensure proper puffing. Don’t overfill the bites to avoid messy spills. Assemble ahead and refrigerate for convenience.
