Bite-sized cinnamon rolls transformed into golden, crispy French toast bites—perfect for lazy weekends, festive brunches, or sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pre-made cinnamon rolls
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 tablespoons butter
  • Optional toppings: cream cheese glaze, powdered sugar, maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Slice pre-made cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces, roughly 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.
  3. Submerge each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, ensuring they’re fully coated. Let them sit for about 10 seconds.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter, swirling to coat the pan evenly.
  5. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove the bites from the pan and transfer them to a serving plate. Drizzle with cream cheese glaze, powdered sugar, or maple syrup before serving.

Notes

Keep cooked bites warm in a low oven (200°F/93°C) while finishing batches. Customize toppings like whipped cream, honey, or chopped nuts.
