These colorful and creamy fudge squares mimic candy corn, making them the perfect festive treat for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Orange gel food coloring
  • Yellow gel food coloring
  • Candy corn (optional for decoration)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line your 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips with 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk and 1 tablespoon butter over low heat. Stir constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  3. Divide the melted mixture into three bowls. Leave one bowl plain for the white layer.
  4. Add orange gel food coloring to the second bowl and yellow gel food coloring to the third. Stir until colors are evenly mixed.
  5. Pour the white layer into the prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes, or until slightly firm.
  6. Once the white layer is set, pour the orange layer on top and spread evenly. Refrigerate again for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Finally, pour the yellow layer on top, spread evenly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to fully set.
  8. Remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and decorate with candy corn if desired.

Notes

[‘Use gel food coloring for vibrant layers.’, ‘Keep the heat low when melting chocolate to avoid seizing or burning.’, ‘Let each layer firm up in the fridge before adding the next to ensure clean, distinct colors.’, ‘Use a sharp knife and wipe it clean between cuts for perfectly clean squares.’]
