Scale
  • 1 bottle of dry red wine (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Tempranillo)
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 oranges, sliced into thin rounds

  3. Add the blackberries and orange slices to the pitcher. Stir gently to distribute the flavors.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours for deeper infusion).
  5. Just before serving, pour in the club soda and give it a gentle stir. Add ice to the pitcher or individual glasses.
  6. Serve in glasses, garnished with reserved blackberries and orange slices.

Notes

For maximum flavor, chill the sangria for at least 2 hours or overnight. Adjust sweetness to taste and experiment with different fruits for variations.
